About Whiteoak Capital Mutual Fund

Mr Prashant Khemka founded the investment management and advisory company Whiteoak Capital Mutual Fund in June 2017, intending to create a performance-driven business with a robust investing culture. With operations in India, Singapore, the UK, Mauritius, and Switzerland over the past three years, White Oak has attracted some of India's most significant foreign portfolio investment inflows. With a global clientele that includes sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, endowments, individuals, and family offices investing in India through a combination of separately managed accounts and investment funds, Whiteoak group entities had assets under management totalling 5.8 billion USD as of October 31.

Whiteoak offers a solid performance-first culture built on a straightforward stock selection-based strategy and effective risk management. The seasoned investment team's belief and investment tenet is that outsized profits can be realised by making long-term investments in outstanding companies at competitive prices.

In contrast to accounting earnings-based models, the team uses a unique "Opco-Finco" analytical and valuation approach focused on cash flow. From the perspective of portfolio building, the team keeps a balanced portfolio to ensure that stock selection ability is captured through alpha production while purposefully avoiding top-down macro bets like market timing and sector rotation that provide little to no value.
