  • Search for the authentic e-filing website of the Income Tax department on the internet.
  • Navigate to the ‘Quick Links’ option on the left side of the homepage and select the ‘Instant E-PAN’ option.
  • The new page will display two options – ‘Get New e-PAN’ and ‘check status/download e-PAN’. Select ‘Get New e-PAN’.
  • Your aadhaar number of 12-digits must be entered, and read the points of undertaking mentioned below. If you agree with the mentioned pointers, click on ‘Confirm’.
  • Once you confirm the undertaking, the page will redirect you to another page where you must input the OTP that you received on the cellphone number associated with the previously entered Aadhaar number.
  • Select “Validate Aadhaar OTP and Continue” after entering the OTP. It will enable the portal to verify the Aadhaar information you provided with UIDAI.
  • After being forwarded to the OTP validation page, you must check the box next to “I accept the terms and conditions” and click the “Continue” button to proceed.
  • Enter the OTP and click on ‘Continue’.
  • The next step will ask you to validate your e-mail ID. Enter the ID. and click on ‘Validate e-mail ID’. Continue after ticking the checkbox.
  • Once everything is verified and you have the green signal, an acknowledgement number will appear on the screen. You can check instant PAN through aadhaar status using your aadhaar number.

How to Check Status/Download Instant PAN

You can check the Instant PAN card through aadhaar card status online if you follow the below-mentioned series of steps:

  • Pay a visit to the official portal of the Income Tax department.
  • On the homepage, locate ‘Quick Links’ and click on the ‘Instant e-PAN’ option.
  • Opt for the ‘Check Status/Download PAN’
  • Enter the captcha code and your legitimate Aadhaar number. Once you are finished, click on the “Submit” button.
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number within the allotted time to authenticate your request. To move on to the next page, tick the box and click the “Continue” button.
  • The page will redirect you to a new page where you can track the progress of your request for a PAN allocation.
  • A PDF link to obtain your PAN file would be generated within 10 minutes if the PAN allotment was successful.
