Ration cards are administered by individual states so there is no single central portal where entering your Aadhaar returns all details. Aadhaar-based checking is available through the following official channels:
Mera Ration App is the most straightforward option. It includes an Aadhaar Seeding feature where you enter your 12-digit Aadhaar, verify with an OTP on your linked mobile and view your complete ration card details. You can also download the information as a PDF directly from the app. It is particularly useful for migrant workers as it is built around the One Nation One Ration Card system.
NFSA Portal (nfsa.gov.in) has a Know Your Ration Card section under Citizen Corner. The public lookup primarily uses your ration card number but Aadhaar-based access is available when your Aadhaar is registered to your portal profile.
State PDS Portal is the appropriate channel for state-specific details. Most state food and civil supplies websites allow you to search by Aadhaar or ration card number and display card status along with eKYC information.
One important point: searching by Aadhaar only returns results if your Aadhaar is already linked to the card. If it has not been seeded yet, use your ration card number for now and complete Aadhaar linking separately.
State-Wise Portals for Aadhaar Ration Status Check
Each state runs its own PDS portal under NFSA and field labels vary across states. The easiest way to locate your state’s portal is through nfsa.gov.in which links to all of them.

- Uttar Pradesh: fcs.up.gov.in, search by Aadhaar or ration card number
- Andhra Pradesh: AP Civil Supplies portal, log in with Aadhaar or ration card credentials

Using the Mera Ration App
- Install the app from the Play Store or App Store
- Open the Aadhaar Seeding option

Using the NFSA Portal
- Go to nfsa.gov.in and open Ration Cards then Know Your Ration Card
